Arco de Santa Maria

The Arco de Santa Maria (Virgin Mary's Gate) is one of 12 original gates to the walled city of Burgos and only one of 6 which survived. It was built in the 13th century and remodeled in the 16th century.

Look for the Woman Selling Chestnuts prior to walking through the gate.

On the other side of the gate, you'll get an impressive view of the Catedral de Burgos.
