We arrived at JFK at 6:30am, an hour ahead of schedule. It was too early to go out to sightsee so we stopped at the Flagship Lounge, It's located in Terminal 8, near Gate 12.
I loved the apple that greeted us at JFK.
The food options for breakfast were not impressive--the usual pastries and fruit. I didn't find any hot food.
The lounge does have a nice view, including the Manhattan skyline.
Showers again were not available. There was a small room with multiple reclining chairs but no lie-flat seats.
When we returned at the end of the day, there was French Onion soup (sans Gruyere cheese on top) and American's fresh made guacamole. The guacamole was good but the chips were stale.
