Be sure to see Alameda Park before leaving Santiago de Compostela.
You can get a panoramic view of the Catedral.
Find the statue "As Marias," depicting 2 sisters whose family was prosecuted during the Franco regime. The sisters used to stroll in the park with colorful dresses every day at 2 pm. They were very much loved by locals and after their death, a colorful statue was placed.
The sunsets are beautiful in the park.
