Since we were flying Business Class, we had access to the lounges. The American Airlines Admirals Club is located at Terminal 1, near Gate B13.
At 8pm, the club was relatively empty.
The showers were not available--COVID was the excuse.
Dining area.
The food station--not impressive. Again, COVID was the excuse.
The best part was the soup--Roasted Red Pepper with Gouda Cheese Bisque. You did serve yourself so how COVID safe was that?
The bisque was flavorful. The other hot item was Build-Your-Own Mac & Cheese, which was not flavorful.
Behind the Mac & Cheese, you can see a small Tomato & Cheese salad, which was tasty with Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Serve yourself snack bar--again not COVID safe.
Overall, the Admirals Club was disappointing. Not much food selection. If you wanted wine, beer or alcohol, you had to pay for it. In addition, there was nowhere to lie down.
The only benefit is a quiet area to wait for you flights.
