Ume Japanese Bistro in Windsor was ranked highly but it's not even close to Hana. We did order takeout and maybe it'd be better if we ate there. Ume is located at 8710 Old Redwood Highway.
Karaage--$11 ($12.50 on DoorDash). Japanese fried chicken with lemon aioli. The pieces were too small and not juicy at all. The karaage at Orenchi in Santa Clara is SOOOO much better.
Hawaiian Roll-$8.50 ($9.95 on DoorDash) This was Ahi tuna and avocado. The tuna was fresh but not as good as Hana's.
Ume Dinner Combo--$22.95 ($25.50 on DoorDash). Served with miso, salad and rice. Choose from tempura combo or California roll (you can also choose spicy tuna roll for an additional $1 or Nigiri sushi or sashimi for an additional $5), Choose an entree from chicken teriyaki or salmon or steak teriyaki for an additional $1). The spicy salmon roll was good but the rest of the meal was just okay.
