We stayed in Victoria on Gozo and chose the Duke Boutique Hotel. It was conveniently located--a 5-minute walk from the Bus Terminus and an 8-minute walk from the Citadel.

The hotel occupies the top 2 floors of a shopping mall. We had our temperature taken every time we came into the mall--it wasn't inconvenient as there was never a line. The hotel has dedicated elevators so there wasn't a line for that either.

The breakfast area had a nice view of the Citadel.

Our room was large--323 sf. I didn't realize I had booked an internal room, which turned out fine. It was so quiet.

The usual amenities--refrigerator, tea kettle, safe.

The bathroom was also very large.

Breakfast was included and it was the best hotel breakfast I have had outside of Asia. Because of Covid, we had to reserve a time. We were presented with a menu and you could check off as many items as you wanted.

Prior to breakfast, we were given amuse bouches. It was the first time I had amuse bouche with breakfast!

I had the scrambled eggs, mushroom, tomatoes and bacon the first morning. We were running late and couldn't stay for the entire breakfast. The staff were so disappointed and wanted to pack it to go for us. We told them we would allow more time the next morning.

The Duke Boutique Hotel was such a nice hotel and the breakfast was amazing. We paid $86/night so it was a great deal.
