Special Noodle Soup is located at 10275 S De Anza Blvd in Cupertino. Use the map on Yelp rather than Google Maps.
The interior is tacky with heart chairs and there is no outdoor seating.
The restaurant is known for Soup Pan Fried Buns--$11.99 for 6. These were quite good. They were crispy on the bottom and the inside was full of juice. Be careful not to burn your tongue
Steamed Soup Dumplings--$9.99 for 6. These were large but just okay, a tad on the sweet side.
Leek Pockets--$7.99 for 3. Forgot to take a picture. The leek pockets were tasty and juicy and the dough was crisp.
Spicy Beef Noodle Soup--$15.99. This was okay. The beef could have been more tender and it was greasy.
Stir Fry Chinese Lettuce--$18.99. This was expensive for the portion size.
Cucumber Salad--$8.99. This was the best dish of the meal. The cucumbers were crisp and full of garlic flavor. The cilantro was a perfect complement.
I would return to get the Soup Pan Fried Buns and Cucumbers and skip the rest.
