If you're looking for souvenirs from Singapore, consider TWG teas. They're pricey but the teas are quite good. My favorites are 1837 Black or Green Tea. A box of 15 tea bags is SGD28 ($20.35) and a tin with 100g of tea is SGD45 ($32.70). The tea has a nice caramel taste.
Irvin's Salted Egg Fish Skins also make a good gift. They're an acquired taste but once you eat them, you get hooked. Again, not a cheap present. The large bags (230g) are SGD18 ($13.08) and the small bags (105g) are SGD9 ($6.54)
