Malta is known for pizzas and we tried to eat at Soto Pizzeria, which was highly rated. We didn't have reservations and couldn't get a seat. Instead, we found Sally Port. They had outdoor seating but no indoor seating. We took our pizza to go.
Sally Port is located at 102 St. Nicholas Street.

We ordered the Royale with truffle cream, mozzarella, sausage, mushrooms and grana cheese—€9. The pizza was very good, even when taken to go. The crust is Neapolitan style.
We picked up Cisk beer and Kinnie at the convenience store nearby—€3.60. Kinnie is a Maltese bittersweet carbonated drink with orange and herb flavor. It wasn't very sweet. It was good but not something I crave.
