Riviera Ristorante, Santa Rosa

Riviera Ristorante is a casual Italian restaurant in Santa Rosa that has good pastas. It's located at 75 Montgomery Dr.

Caesar Salad--$10. My husband requested anchovies and was charged an additional $2. The salad was okay. It was a little overdressed and it was disappointing that there was an additional charge for anchovies, when it's part of a traditional Caesar Salad.

Sonoma Salad--$10. The salad had Dried Cranberries, Caramelized Almonds and Honey Mustard Vinaigrette. This was a good salad. The vinaigrette was nice and light.

Radicchio Salad--$10. Fresh Pears, Gorgonzola, Fennel, Balsamic Vinaigrette. There wasn't much pear in the salad and the radicchio was a little too bitter. The balsamic vinaigrette was good.

Arugula Salad--$10. Beets, Fennel, Goat Cheese and Balsamic Vinaigrette. I liked this salad, Just the right amount of beets and goat cheese.

Fettucine Bolognese--$19. This was quite good with al dente pasta. The meat sauce had good flavor.

Wild Mushroom Ravioli with Rabbit--$24. The special pasta of the night had rabbit. The ravioli was al dente and the rabbit in wine sauce was tender and delicious.

Lasagna Bolognese--$24. This was deconstructed although I did see other plates where the lasagna was a traditional slice. The pasta was a little too soft and there was no bechamel sauce.
