Polo Grill, Regatta

There are 2 specialty restaurants on the Regatta: Polo Grill and Toscana. The Polo Grill is the Steakhouse.

The menu does not change but there are lots of options.

Chesapeake Bay Lump Crab Cake with Pommery Mustard Sauce. This was quite good--lots of crab and minimal filler.

Warm Foie Gras and Mushrooms Bundled in Short Crust Dough, served with Port Wine Reduction. Good flavors and beautifully presented. The foie gras were small pieces though.

Lobster Bisque Topped with Morsels of Sauteed Lobster. The bisque was flavorful but wasn't as rick as in the past. It was definitely "morsels" of lobster. They were hard to find.

7 oz filet mignon with Bernaise sauce. Sides were Lobster Mac & Cheese (not much lobster flavor or lobster), Haricot Verts Amandine. They were not really haricot verts, more like green beans.

Creamed Spinach and Sauteed Mushrrom Persillade.

The Seven Layer Belgian Chocolate Fudge Cake was quite good--dense and rich.

Gelees delivered with the dessert. A Polo Grill tradition, these are full of flavor.
