During our walking tour, we stopped at Red FR to grab a snack. It's located in the Old Town.

Pick what you want and wait for it to be heated. There are a few tables outside to enjoy your snacks.

Pastizzis and empanadas.

We also purchased some sweets but I must admit I'm not a fan.
Torta tal Lewz--almond cake.

Qaghaq tal-gasel (honey rings). There's no honey so it's not clear why it's called a honey ring. This had a hard outer shell and treacle (similar to molasses) inside.

Prices in Malta are inexpensive. We got our pastizzis and empanadas, as well as our sweets for €7.15.
