Dinner was at Maldonado Bistro in Victoria. It's located at 18 Mons. Luigi Vella Street.
Complimentary rolls, olives, sun-dried tomatoes paste and cheese spread.
Mezzi Rigatoni with Gozitan Oxtail--€11. Braised beef oxtail, red wine and tomato rags. This was delicious and I wanted more.
Rabbit with Capers & Mustard--€18. Confit rabbit leg and shoulder, potato mash, grilled artichoke and mustard sauce with parsley & capers. This was yet another way of preparing rabbit and I liked the mustard sauce. The rabbit was very tender.
Grilled Maltese Lampuki--€18. Pan seared filet of mahi-mahi with white wine & garlic, served with a Mediterranean wild rice salad. The mahi-mahi was well prepared.
Sides of vegetables and potatoes served with the entrees.
Maldonado Bistro was delicious and worth a visit.
