L'Oro di Napoli is located in downtown Santa Rosa at 629 4th Street. The Restaurant Week dinner menu was $35 for 3 courses.
Tried the Bruschetta Pomodori which was quite good. Homemade toasted bread rubbed with garlic, topped with freshly chopped cherry tomatoes and basil. The tomatoes were tasty even though it's not tomato season.
The Stagionale--Wild arugula, roasted butternut squash puree, sliced almonds, topped with pecorino cheese in an orange mustard honey dressing and balsamic glaze on top was okay. It needed just a little more dressing.
Lasagna--Homemade beef bolognese, bechamel, mozzarella, and parmigiano reggiano all layered together. It was a huge portion. The noodles were slightly mushy. It was not my favorite.
The Margherita pizza--San Marzano tomato sauce, melted mozzarella cheese, topped with fresh basil and extra virgin olive oil. It needed just a little more crisp on the bottom (it was soggy) and the crust would be just like in Naples. Good chewiness. The tomato sauce was tasty but the cheese was a little too thick.
Panna Cotta- Traditional vanilla panna cotta, topped with kiwi and dark chocolate.
The Caprese--Traditional Neapolitan dark chocolate cake made with almond flour and amaretto. The caprese was rich, dense and delicious. Would definitely get it again.
