Joy Dumpling, Cupertino

I discovered another place to have XLB in the south bay. Joy Dumpling is located at 10895 S Blaney Avenue in Cupertino.

Juicy Pork Dumplings--$7.95 for 6. The skin was thin and the pork filling had good flavor as well as a lot of juiciness. I will definitely return for these.

Beef Roll--$7.95. The green onion pancake was thin and just the right crunch. The beef was tender. My only complaint is the black bean sauce. It would have been so much better with hoisin sauce. Skip next time.

Dry Sauteed String Bean--$13.95. This tasted fishy. My guess is they used anchovy, which distracted from the taste. Either that or they fried the green beans after frying fish. Skip next time.

Vegetable Tofu--$11.95. Good flavor with soft tofu rounds. Would order again.

Eggplant with Basil--$12.95. So tender and tasty. Will definitely order again.
