Jenner Headlands

Back on the coast near Jenner is the Jenner Headlands Preserve. There's no entrance fee and no parking fee.

We hiked a portion of the Sea to Sky Trail and combined it with the Raptor Ridge Loop.

Description: Arrive early to get a space in the parking lot. The hike is exposed. Be sure to bring a hat. You might also want to bring a pair of binoculars to look for raptors.

The first part of the trail is an uphill climb. You'll need to share the trail with cows on occasion.

They'll stare you down.

You'll find a barn with some picnic tables near the top.

Views of the Pacific Ocean are beautiful.
