I had a trip scheduled to the Christmas Markets in Germany but COVID changed my plans. I had a roundtrip business class ticket for $1614 from SFO to Munich on United. I wasn't about to give up the ticket. Fortunately, Malta, which was an easy non-stop flight from Munich, was a good option. Their COVID rate was 98 and most of their citizens had been vaccinated. So, off to Malta.
