Flavor Bistro is located at 7365 Healdsburg Avenue in Sebastopol. It is one of my favorite restaurants.
Organic Pear & Endive Salad--$10.95 (reg)/$7.95 (small). Balsamic Glazed, Walnut Gremolata & Gorgonzola Dolce. The regular is large enough for 2 to share.
Mussels--$9.95. Garlic, White Wine and Herb Bread. This is so flavorful. Be sure to soak the bread with the juice.
Boscaiola--$15.95 (reg)/$12.95 (small). Slow Cooked Meat Sauce, Porcini, Red Wine, Parmesan. The meat sauce is delicious but there was a little too much. The pasta is cooked perfectly al dente.
Prawn Pasta--$23.95 (reg)/$16.95 (small). Garlic, Basil, White Wine, Pomodoro, Touch of Cream. This was a small but it was plenty for one person. This was served with tagliatelle. I've also seen it served with penne pasta and I prefer the tagliatelle.
Sonoma Brasato--$19.95 (reg)/$14.95 (small). Short Ribs, Red Wine, Procini Mushroom, Glazed Veggies, Butternut Squash Risotto. The short ribs were fork tender and so delicious. This was a regular.
Homemade Gelato Sundae--$7.95. Thick fudge sauce, nuts, whipped cream and puff pastry cookies. So good.
