The Dough Zone is a dumpling place with locations in Cupertino and San Mateo. I visited the one at 19600 Vallco Parkway, Suite 130 in Cupertino.
Green Onion Pancake--$3.50. This was bland. Not much green onion flavor and no salt.
Spicy Beef Pancake Roll--$7.95. Grilled pancake roll stuffed with shredded lettuce, beef and spicy house sauce. This was also bland.
Pork with Crab Soup Dumplings--6 pieces for $7.95. Soup dumplings filled with Berkshire-Duroc pork & fresh crab meat. Not quite as good as Din Tai Fun but it's good enough. One of the dumplings was deformed.
Sweet & Sour Cucumber--$5.75. Cucumber salad with sweet & sour dressing. This was a big portion and it was very tasty.
Pork & Shrimp Pot Stickers--6 pieces for $5.95. Pan-fried dumplings filled with Berkshire-Duroc ground pork & shrimp. The filling was good but the best part was the pan-fried bottom. Nice and crispy.
