Day 6--Bali

We were docked overnight in Bali and were able to leave the ship whenever we wanted.

Our driver picked us up at 6am so we didn't get breakfast. We re-boarded at 1:30pm and were starving.

Lunch in the Terrace Cafe:

Spaghetti alla Napoletana with Meatballs--Oceania does a great job with their pasta. The pasta is perfectly al dente and the tomato sauce is so flavorful. Crispy Fried Red Snapper Filet, Beef Stroganoff and Veal Scallopini Saltimbocca rounded out my lunch. The fish was good, the stroganoff was dry and the veal was very dry.

They also had a bibimbap which was spicy and very flavorful.

All aboard at 2:30 pm and Sail Away at 3pm. We had tea at 4pm.

Dinner in the Grand Dining Room:

Beef Carpaccio with Roasted Peanuts, Coriander, Shallots & Chili OIl. The beef was a little thicker than the average carpaccio but the Asian flavors were nice.

Arroz Caldoso with Spanish Rice, Lobster Broth, Chorizo and Clams.

Cream of Asparagus with Smoked Salmon.

Assorted Greens Salad with Oranges, Fennel and Manchego Cheese.

Herb Roasted Lamb Rack with Ratatouille and Gratin Dauphinois. The lamb was very well prepared.

Strawberry Souffle with Strawberry Coulis.

Humphrey Slocombe Black Sesame Ice Cream--so good.
