Wreck of Mary D. Hume

At the mouth of the Rogue River, you'll find the wreck of the Mary D. Hume. It was built in Gold Beach and initially hauled goods between Oregon and San Francisco, It then served as a whaler in Alaska and finally as a tugboat. When it was retired in 1977, it was returned to Gold Beach then sank in 1985.
