Langlois, just south of Bandon, is known for blueberries. There are several U-pick farms. The season is July-August. Call the farms to confirm if they have ripe blueberries.,
We went to Valentine U-Pick. They provide buckets for picking.
Blueberries are easy to pick. They are $2/lb but you can eat as much as you want in the field. The blueberries are packaged in plastic bags to go. I brought some containers to keep them from crushing.
At Valentine, there was also a cranberry field. They weren't ripe yet. Bandon is also known as Oregon's cranberry capital. Each September, Bandon has a cranberry festival.
