I had read that the best fish & chips could be found in Port Orford at the Crazy Norwegian's. It's located at 259 6th Street.

It's open 12-7pm daily except Mon & Tue. We arrived at 12:15 and the line was out the door. It wasn't moving either. I ended up calling in a take-out order and got my order 20 minutes later,

The Fish & Chips--$15. Four small pieces of fish, chips, coleslaw or pasta salad and house tartar. The fish were whole pieces of cod and the batter was very light. It was good but a little pricey at $15. The coleslaw was good.

They are also known for their pies. A slice of coconut cream pie--$5. This was good.

Key Lime Pie--$5. This was also quite good. The pie slices were small but the pies were tasty.

There are a few tables inside and there are picnic tables outside to enjoy your meal.
