Dinner in Gold Beach was at Spinners. it's located at 29430 Ellensburg Ave (Hwy 101). They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is at picnic tables. There was a tablecloth but it's still a picnic table..
Warm rosemary rolls. I read rave reviews but I thought these were just okay. They were dinner rolls with a little rosemary.
The Brandborg Gewürztraminer was $32. It retails for $12-16.
I added a cup of clam chowder to my entree for $3.50. This chowder was delicious! Rich, creamy and full of clams, not potatoes.
Crab Cake Chesapeake Bay Style--$25.95. Dungeness Crab cake with herbs and spices, sautéed and served over wilted spinach, lemon beurre blanc. This was full of crab and so good. Not much filler. The beurre blanc sauce was delicious as well.
Grilled Duck Breast--$24. This was cooked perfectly pink. It was so tender and the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious.
Triple Chocolate Explosion Cake--$6.95. Three layer cake, brownie, mousse with vanilla bean ice cream and chocolate sauce. Rich and decadent. Definitely get it.
