South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve

This 5900 acre reserve is home to bald eagles and black bears. The Visitor's Center was closed due to COVID. The reserve is free to visit, even during non-COVID times.

We took the 10-minute Loop Trail.

Trees with owl boxes were visible from the path.
