From Tucumcari, we followed the south Frontage Road to San Jon then crossed I-40 and turned right on the north Frontage Road. At Exit 369, you'll find Russell's Travel Center.
This is a modern travel center with a diner.
Inside the gift shop, you'll also find areas to sit.
The big draw though is the free car museum.
There's an extensive collection of old cars and toys inside.
