Portillo's, Chicago

Another place for Italian Beef is Portillo's. It's located at 100 W. Ontario Street.

There are several food stalls inside. Get in line, place your order and find a table.

Italian beef sandwich--$9.39. This had a black pepper taste. Even though this was less expensive, Al's was better

We also tried their Hot Dog--$3.79 for a regular. The hot dog had a nice snap. It came with mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, pickle, sports pepper, celery salt & ketchup.
