Oz Park, Chicago

Oz Park is located at 2021 N. Burling Street, 18 minutes east of Pequod's. It is a public park featuring the characters from the "Wizard of Oz," which was written by L. Frank Baum, a Chicagoan.


The Tin Man is made of old auto parts and stands in the NE corner of the park. Installed in 1995, he was the first statue in the park.


The Cowardly Lion is made of bronze and stands at the SE corner of the park. He was installed in 2001.


The Scarecrow is also made of bronze and stands in Emerald City Garden, near the Tin Man. He was installed in 2005.


The statue of Dorothy


with Toto. This was the last statue added to the park in 2007.
