Since we didn't get many pictures of the sand dunes on our full moon walk, we went back.
Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes Details:
Out & back
Distance: 2 miles
Elevation: 185 feet
Time: 1:40
Ease: moderate. Walking on sand is difficult.
Parking: large parking lot
Getting to the sand dunes.
Most people don't make it all the way to the sand dunes so the number of footprints decreases dramatically.
We couldn't identify which animal made this track but it was pretty.
You can walk along the top of the sand dunes.
