Kohnen's Country Bakery, Tehachapi

Tehachapi is 45 minutes outside of Bakersfield. We stopped at Kohnen's Country Bakery, located at 125 W. Tehachapi Blvd, to pick up lunch.

I called ahead and placed my order so it was easy to pick up.

Cubano Sandwich--$10.45. Roast Pork, Turkey, Swiss Cheese, Whole Grain Mustard, Dill Slices on Cuban Roll, served hot. I also ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich on Cheese Bread--$9.45. Both were good but the Cubano was better.

Cherry Pie--$15.25 for 9 inch pie.

They also have hand-crafted breads. We got a loaf of Cheddar Cheese Bread--$4.45 and a baguette--$2.55.
