From the Russell's Travel Center, it was 4 minutes to the Texas border. Goodbye New Mexico.
Hello Texas!
We got off at Exit 0 and backtracked on old Route 66 to the New Mexico/Texas border. You'll find ruins of old motels and cafes.
The border is marked by a concrete post.
