On our last morning in Lisbon, our 24-hour Viva Viagem card was still valid so we decided to take the Elevador de Santa Justa.
Designed in 1902 by an architect who had studied under Gustav Eiffel, this 150-foot-tall elevator connects the lower and upper towns.
