Eats in Durango

During our tour through town, we spied a taco truck with a line. The truck was located near Palacio de Zambrano.

We got a taco for MX$12 ($0.60). This was filled with shredded chicken and very tasty. We felt it was safe to eat because it was in an insulated truck and the taco was served piping hot on a disposable plate.

We also grabbed a snack at Cafe Central, next to Palacio de Zambrano.

Pineapple empanadas--3 for MX$25 ($1.20). They were good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them.

We also picked up another snack at Las Nortenitas, located at Francisco I. Madero 407.

Tostadas de Canela--6 for MX$25 ($1.20). These are fried dough with a cinnamon flavor. I thought they were dry.
