We stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton--Magnificent Mile. Since we arrived at O'Hare in the late evening, it was easier to take Uber to the hotel. Cost was $41.94, before tip.
The Doubletree is located 2 blocks from the Magnificent Mile. It's a 12 minute walk to Millenium Park and a 17 minute walk to Navy Pier.
There was a nice pool but we didn't have time to take advantage of it.
