Breakfast the next morning was at Double D's Cafe, located at 29441 Ellensburg Avenue. It's in the back of the parking lot.
I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak--$12.95 It was served with 2 eggs any style ( I ordered mine over easy), hash browns or home fries and toast. The chicken fried steak was just as good as at Mattie's Pancake House in Brookings. Unless you like your toast slathered with margarine, order it dry.
French Toast--$5.25 for 2 slices. You can choose 1 slice for $4.25 and 3 slices for $6.25. These were not as fluffy as Mattie's but still good.
