Desolation Canyon

After Dante's View, we drove back to Badwater Road and continued beyond Golden Canyon to Desolation Canyon.

Keep to the left to go up the canyon. There are 3 rock scrambles—two 5’ tall. If short of time, skip this hike.

Ample parking is available at the trailhead.

Follow the wide gulch to the left.

The path narrows.

You'll need to go over a few rock scrambles.
