We arrived in Kehl, Germany at 8 am and were bussed to Strasbourg, France just across the Rhine River. The included tour was a 4-hour walk around Strasbourg. Afterwards, we stayed in town to have lunch then met at the designated time and location to take the bus back. There were several times to return.
After returning to the ship dock, we walked around the town of Kehl.
At 4:30 pm, the onboard chefs demonstrated how to make Flamkuchen and we got a taste.
Port talk and disembarkation information were given at 6;45 pm. We entered a lock then had a German buffet for dinner.
There's not much wiggle room in the lock.
The German Buffet was quite good but it was a little disorganized. There were only 2 lines to get the food. Fortunately, we got in line as soon as we got our table.
The spaetzle was the best part.
There were several desserts but none were impressive.
