We made it to Brookings for our first night. We stayed at the Blue Coast Inn.& Suites, right on Hwy 101. Our room had been remodeled with faux wood floor.
We had a partial ocean-view room, which meant it faced Hwy 101. Surprisingly, it was not too noisy at night. There was no AC in the room but frankly it's not needed on the Oregon Coast. WiFi worked well.
The room has a refrigerator with small freezer, microwave oven and Keurig machine. There was hot water and coffee in the lobby as well.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable.
The bathroom had not been remodeled though and could have really used it. If it had an updated bathroom, I would stay again.
