Artists Drive & Artists Palette

We ended the day with Artists Drive & Artists Palette. It's a 9 mile scenic drive one way (from south to north). The lighting is best in the late afternoon. The entrance is 8.5 miles south of Furnace Creek on Badwater Road.

The road is paved but winding and vehicles over 25 feet are not permitted on the road.

Stop at Artists Palette. There is a parking lot. You can take a short walk to get closer to the colored hills.
