Ann Sather's Cinnamon Rolls has several locations. We visited the location at 909 W. Belmont Avenue, near Lincoln Park.
Ann Sather opened the restaurant in 1945 and ran it for 35 years. She then sold it to Tom Tunney, a Chicago native, who still owns the restaurant.
The cinnamon rolls are $4.50 for 2. There are other items on the menu but we just stopped in to try the cinnamon roll. The rolls are soft and have a vanilla glaze but they're not extraordinary. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll stop to get one but I wouldn't go out of my way to have it.
