Albuquerque to Santa Rosa

Leaving Albuquerque, take Hwy 333 to Carnuel. Just before Tijeras, "America the Beautiful" plays as you drive on the road at 45 mph. You can't miss it.

Near Moriarty, see the last Whiting Bros. gas station to close.

Enter I-40 and drive for 76 miles. It's a flat drive.

At Cline's Corner, where I-40 intersects Hwy 285, you'll find the biggest gift shop in the area. Inside is a Subway.

It was really windy and a truck tipped over. It must happen often because everyone was unphased.

Entering Santa Fe, you'll find the Comet II Restaurant with a neon sign.

Continue on Parker and turn right on 4th Ave, following the signs to the Blue Hole. This is a deep, clear, blue sinkhole that is used by divers.

Take 6th Street to join US Route 66. You'll find Joseph's Bar & Grill on the left.
